"This is another great honor for Lackawanna College and Talek. For Lackawanna this is the 1st time in school history where a Falcon was selected for the NJCAA All-Star Game in Las Vegas. Talek is one of 12 players selected in the country to participate in this event. This goes to show everyone that hard work pays off. Talek has learned from his prior experiences and taken advantage of what Lackawanna has to offer. He has become a better student by utilizing all of the support services we offer academically. Talek has consistently improved his grade point average each semester. He has utilized the coaching staff and the availability of the gym to become a better outside shooter and increase his overall skill development. He has asked for extra workouts by utilizing our strength and conditioning department. Honestly everything we offer our student athletes at Lackawanna, Talek has used to his advantage and his benefit. Talek has shown tremendous passion and perseverance towards his goals while learning from his past and present experiences. He has been a pleasure to coach and I have enjoyed watching him succeed." – Head Coach Brian Coyle
