"This was a great honor for Lackawanna College and Talek Williams. For Lackawanna, this is back to back years for All-American selections. For Talek, this is a great accomplishment. I've seen firsthand the amount of hard work this young man puts in. He has such a passion for basketball and he is focused on being great. I have seen the double and triple work out days. As a coach, we demand a lot from our players and with Talek I challenged him more than most that I've coached over the years. Talek stepped up to every challenge and tackled it head on. Talek embraced his role here at Lackawanna and has become a better student, basketball player, and person. It's been amazing watching his maturity into a great young man." – Head Coach Brian Coyle.
