Baltimore MD. – This past weekend the Lackawanna College Men's Basketball team participated in the Ben Williams Basketball Tournament hosted by Baltimore City Community College. The Falcons lost their opener on Saturday losing to Frederick Community College 84-66; before bouncing back on Sunday to claim 3rd place with an 86-85 win over BCCC.

On Saturday, Lackawanna's leading scorer was Stevan Rodriguez with 16 points. In addition to Rodriguez three other Falcons posted double digit games, Theron Reddy and Ransford Agyeman both contributed 13 points each, while Keyon Faulkner-Smith posted a 12 point game.

On Sunday, The Falcons were led by freshman guard, Ransford Agyeman, who recorded a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Other notable contributions to the win were Jonathan Williams's 20-point effort; Stevan Rodriguez's double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds; Keyon Faulkner-Smith's 18 points and 4 blocks; and Theron Reddy's 11 points and team high 6 assists

Lackawanna plays again on Tuesday when they host Essex County College at the Lackawanna College Student Union. Game time on Tuesday is 7:00 PM.
