Lackawanna remains Undefeated with 40-25 Win

Scranton, PA: The Lackawanna College Football team extended their undefeated season with a 40-25 win over ASA Miami. With the Victory, the Falcons have now won 15 consecutive games, with their last lost coming to DuPage on October 28, 2017.

In today's contest, Lackawanna relied on the passing arm of Matt Cavallaro. Cavallaro tossed TD passes of 43 and 47 yards to Norval Black; 52 and 15 yards to Tylon Papallo and seven yards to Kareem Hall. He completed 19 passes in 29 attempts for a total of 276 yards.

Besides the two extra points by Cameron Cecootti and the three PATs by Luke Payne, the only other scores was a 32 yard field goal by Payne and a safety with time running out in first half when the Falcons forced an ASA fumble into their own end zone which Silver Storm could not return.

On defense, Lackawanna recorded seven sack, two each by Gianni Gamble and Greg Rose and one by Tyler Long, Teron Haley and Robert Kennedy. The Falcons also picked off three passes, one each by Mike Crawford, Robert Kennedy and Kevin DeShields.

Lackawanna plays at home next Saturday when they host Erie Community College at Scranton Memorial Stadium, Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
