    He was awarded the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame Meritorious Achievement Award and Commendation Certificate. Coach Duda will also be added to the Sports Hall of Fame display inside the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport.

  • Lackawanna Football EL Toro Bowl Champions

    Yuma AZ – Lackawanna Football and an Arizona Bowl Game are perfect ingredients for an exciting football contest. In 2006, the Falcons won the Valley of the Sun Bowl 17-16 on a 50-yard field goal with no time on the clock. Two years ago, while participating in their second Valley of the Sun Bowl game, they lost to Mesa Community College 48-42 in double overtime. Today, with a 7-point lead in the closing minutes, the Falcon defense stopped a potential game tying Arizona Western drive to clinch a 17-10 El Toro Bowl.

    A stellar performance by Brisker helped Lackawanna College defeat Georgia Military College 30-15.
  • Lackawanna College Takes Flight to the EL Toro Bowl

    NJCAA 6th ranked Lackawanna College earned a bid for the postseason after going 10-0. The Falcons were also named Northeast Football Conference Champions after defeating ASA College 30-26 and Monroe College 21-7. The Matadors will walk into the El Toro bowl ranked 19th, sporting a 6-4 record.
  • Falcons Football 10-0 after defeating Georgia Military College 30-15

    The Lackawanna College Falcons defeated the Georgia Military College Bulldogs 30-15 in their last game of the regular season. The undefeated Falcons are now 10-0, after winning on a neutral field at Marshall University.

    Defense and Special Teams played a large scoring roll during Sunday afternoon's game, as Lackawanna College defeated the New Jersey Warriors 51-20. The Falcons record now stands at 9-0.

    The NJCAA selected Lackawanna College’s #4 Isaiah Howard as the NJCAA’s Special Team Player of the Week. Howard kicked a perfect day, kicking two field goals (22, 31) and eight extra points.

    Nelsonville., OH – Sunday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Football team took a major step toward a 2018 National Junior College Athletic Association bowl invitation with 62-6 victory over Hocking College.
  • Falcons defeat Monroe College 21-7 to become Northeast Football Conference Champions

    Saturday afternoon was Homecoming for Lackawanna College and they delivered a 21-7 win over the Monroe College Mustangs. This win helped the Falcons attain a 7-0 record and a Northeast Football Conference Championship.

    Orchard Park, NY – Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Football team captured their fifth victory of the 2018 season. Highlighted by Ja'yir Brown’s three interception performance, the Falcons outscored Erie by a score of 29-10.

  • Lackawanna remains Unbeaten

    Garden City, NY – Saturday afternoon, the NJCAA 10th ranked Lackawanna College football team traveled to Garden City to take on long time rival Nassau Community College. The Falcons scored the first two touchdowns of the game before Nassau bounced back to tie the game at 14-14 with 10:22 left in the first half. That would be as close as Nassau would get to challenging the Falcons, as Lackawanna went on a four-touchdown run to give them a 42-14 halftime lead.
  • Lackawanna shuts out Delaware Valley University JV

    Doylestown, PA – Sunday, The NJCAA 11th ranked Lackawanna College Football team claimed their third consecutive win of the 2018 season, with a 55-0 shutout of Delaware Valley University Junior Varsity. The Falcons used a balanced attack in the victory, using nine different runners to accumulate 4 touchdowns on 338 rushing yards and two quarterbacks to amass 4 more TDs on 270 yards. Defensively, Lackawanna held Delaware Valley to 64 total net yards.

    Staten Island, NY – Sunday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Football team improved their record to 2-0 with a 48-6 win over the Wagner College Junior Varsity team. The Falcons coasted to the victory by scoring 35 of those points before halftime.

    Charlotte, NC – Sunday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Football team kicked off their 2018 season with a 30-7 win over ASA – Miami. The contest was the inaugural game played between these two NJCAA powerhouses.
  • Falcons Open Season Sunday with Trio of D-1 Commits

    SCRANTON, Pa. – 8-31-2018 – It’s a new football season at Lackawanna College and it begins this weekend, as the Lackawanna College Falcons travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to play ASA College (Miami) on Sunday September 2nd. Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm as the Falcons look to continue last season’s success. During the 2017 season, Lackawanna sported a 7-2 (1-1 Conference) record. ASA College (Miami) has already started their 2018 season with a 41-0 home win over Advance Prep Academy.
