Danielle Johnson Commits to Kings

The Lackawanna College Women's Soccer program is pleased to announce that Danielle Johnson will be attending Kings College where she will be continuing her soccer career. At Lackawanna, Johnson was a two year starter, sharing time as a defender and goalkeeper. As a defender, she had one career assist and a goal. Johnson became the Lady Falcon's starting goalkeeper during the latter half of the 2009 season. At her new position, she faced 150 shots on goal, saved 136, and allowed only 14 goals against. She ended the season with a respectable 1.482 goals against average, which earned her a position on the All Region XIX 2nd Team. Her play was instrumental in the Lady Falcon's gaining entrance into the Region XIX Division II Women's Soccer Tournament, Lackawanna's first ever appearance.
