(Scranton, PA) – The Lady Falcons played their last home game of the regular season on Sunday afternoon against Mercer County CC. Lackawanna won the Region XIX match-up 94-49. They extended their record to 22-5 (13-3).
Jumping out to a quick start, the Lady Falcons planted 27 points in the first quarter. Ciaira Loyd, Colleen Cwalina, Kyla Smith, and Keyanah Price amassed 28 points between themselves in the first half. Lackawanna also crashed the boards in the first half, recording 33 total rebounds and they scored 20 points in the paint. Lackawanna led Mercer 42-29 at halftime.
Lackawanna continued their offensive dominance into the 3rd quarter as they put 33 points on the board. Seven Lady Falcons scored double digits in Sunday's game, Kyla Smith scored the most with 14. Lackawanna was not selfish with the ball, the team had 29 assists. Lackawanna defeated Mercer 94-49.
