Lackawanna Beats Salem CC on Road.

At Carneys Point, New Jersey, Terika Turner's 18 points and Megan Campbell's 17 led the the Lackawanna College women's basketball team to a 65-45 Tuesday night win over Salem Community College. In beating the Oaks, Lackawanna improved their conference record to 8-2 and placed themselves within two games of clinching a spot in the Region XIX Division II Women's Basketball Tournament. Presently Lackawanna is in second place in the Region's standings. Overall the Lady Falcons have ten wins and four losses.

Notable Tuesday night performances included respective double – doubles by Turner, 18 points and 11 rebounds; and Brittany Nelson, 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lady Falcons next play this Thursday at Mercer County Community College's West Windsor Campus. Game time for that contest is 5:00 PM.
