Lackawanna Golf takes First Place in EPAC Event

Harrisburg, PA: The Lackawanna College Golf opened the initial Fall Golf Season in the school's history with a first place finish in the Harrisburg Invitational Tournament. The Falcons beat six other Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference teams for the title. The team shot a tourney low 308, led by co-medialist Alex Altier and Zac Moore, each of whom shot a 75.

Freshman Joe Hurn and Tyler Salak contributed to the victory with scores of 78 and 80 respectively.

The Falcons entered the tournament ranked 11th in the season's initial Nike Junior College Poll.

Lackawanna tees it up again on Friday when they play in second EPAC tourney of the autumn, the Luzerne County Community College Invitational, at the Wilkes-Barre Municipal Golf Course. Tee time is scheduled for 10:00 AM
