Lackawanna Retains PA – DE Cup

High Bridge, NJ - On Monday for the ninth consecutive year, the Lackawanna College Golf team has brought home the Pennsylvania – Delaware Cup after shooting a team score of 294. The Falcons closest competitor was Del Tech Owens, who shot a team score of 319. Lackawanna's Kevin Karabin was the tourney's medalist with a score of 71

The next low scorer for the Lackawanna golfers was Alex Altier, with a 73. He was followed by John Brundred, who carded a 74 and Jordan Smith and Aaron Fricke, both whom recorded a 76.

The cup goes to the NJCAA schools located in Pennsylvania or Delaware who has the lowest team score in the yearly match played in concurrence with the Region XIX Qualifier at the High Bridge Hills Golf Course, High Bridge, New Jersey. Presently eight teams compete for the cup. Besides Lackawanna, the other teams in that group are Northampton Community College, Luzerne County Community College, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Bucks Community College, Delaware Community College, Harrisburg Area Community College and Del-Tech Owens.
