Warminster, PA  – On Tuesday, April 16th, the Lackawanna College golf team stayed perfect on the season by capturing it's fifth invitational tournament title this spring. The team scored a 306 in the Bucks Community College Invitational on the Five Ponds Golf Course

John Brundred of Lackawanna College was the medalist for the event, with a round of 1 over-par 73.

Rounding out the team scoring, Kevin Karabin finished second with a round of 76; while Dalton Coldwater had a 78; Willis Davenport a 79; and Jordan Smith a 79.    Other members of Lackawanna College who competed in the tournament was Devin Crowley (83)

Patrick Lloyd, head golf coach for the Falcons commented," What I thought was nice team is deeper than I thought, we have had three different golfers that have been medalist and placed our five golfers in the top ten in every event." He added, "If a team wants to compete on a national level you need 5 golfers to contribute, we have that this year."

The team total of 306 was good enough to win by 16 shots over the next nearest competitor, host Bucks Community College (322).  Lackawanna College increased its 2012-2013 record to 23-0 and is currently ranked 15th in the Nike/Golf World NJCAA DII polls.
