Lackawanna College Golf Team Shoots Best Score in Morris Country and Northampton Invitational Tournaments.

 Lackawanna College began it's 2013 season with wins in the GSAC Morris Community College Invitational and the Northhampton Invitational Tournament.

In the Morris County College Invitational at Flanders Country Club, NJ. sleet, snow, and rained forced the event to be shortened to 9 holes with Lackawanna College winning the event by 15 shots over its nearest competitor in the 6 team event.  Lackawanna College was led by Kevin Karabin who carded a 9 hole score of 37 to capture medalist honors.

In the Northampton Invitational at Greenpond Country Club in Bethlehem, PA, the Falcon's Golf Team captured the opening event in the newly formed EPAC conference with a team score of 325 in the 8 team event.  Bucks County Community College finished second on the day with a score of 332.

Lackawanna College was led by Devin Crowley (80) and Kevin Karabin (81).  Jordan Smith, Willis Davenport, and John Brundred all carded rounds of 82 on the day.
Coach Lloyd added "we have had a very cold Spring, both events have been played in sub 45 degree temperatures I am thrilled the guys on the team did not get discouraged and we came away with wins."
