Lackawanna College Golf Team Completes Successful Regular Season

Team Highlights:

During the 2010 season the team captured the Raritan Valley, Brookdale, Union and Burlington invitational tournaments.  The team's win – loss record for the season was 42-1-0. It averaged 313.5 shots per round, the best in the Region. The Falcons won the Pennsylvania – Delaware Cup, had the best record in Region XIX Division II and qualified for the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Individual Highlights:

Dakota Brown led the Region in scoring with an average of 76.1strokes per round. He won the Raritan Valley and Union invitational tournaments, while finishing no lower than second in the other three tournaments in which he participated. Dakota was named to the All Region team and was the 2010 Lackawanna College Golf team MVP.

Kevin MacDonald was second in the conference in scoring with a per round average of 76.8.He won the individual title in the Burlington and Brookdale invitational tournaments and finished in top 5 in each of the Region XIX tournaments which the Falcons participated. Kevin was named to the All Region golf team

Win Aukamp finished in the top ten in each event he played this season. For the second year, he was named to the All Region Team.

Lucas Olivas had two top ten finishes this season. He was also named to the All Region Team.

Last year's team MVP, Matthew Lyons, placed in the top ten in both events in which he played. His 2010 playing average was 80.

Bobby Reed had two top five finishes this season. He was the team's most improved player for the 2010 golf season.
