Lackawanna's Golf Team Wins Raritan Invitational Tournament

The Lackawanna Falcons Men's Golf Team captured its fourth tournament title of the season on Monday, April 26, by winning the Raritan Invitational Tournament. 

On a raw, rainy and windy day, the Falcons posted a 313 at High Bridge Hills Golf Club in High Bridge, NJ.  The win improves the Falcons win loss record to 31-0 on the season. The tournament wins give coach Patrick Lloyd his 100th career win at Lackawanna College (101-27-1).

Dakota Brown won his second tournament of the season with a round of 75.  Bobby Reed and Kevin MacDonald each shot 79 to tie for 5th place.  Matt Lyons carded a round of 81, while Win Aukamp (82) and Lucas Olivas (84) rounded out the team scores.

For the second consecutive week the Falcons placed all six golfers in the top 15 in the individual standings.  Coach Lloyd said, “I am thrilled with the scores considering how wet and windy the day was. The team is progressing nicely, each week our scores are improving, and all 6 golfers are contributing.”

The team will next compete on April 29th  against Morris Community College at Farmstead Golf and Country Club before preparing for GSAC Regionals and the PA-Delaware Cup on May 3rd.
