SCRANTON, Pa. – The Lackawanna College Falcons will also host a "Cancer Awareness Day" during Men's and Women's basketball games versus Manor College on Saturday, February 17 at the Lackawanna College Student Union, 500 Jefferson Avenue, Scranton. Proceeds from the games that day will benefit Jalen Chandler, an eighth-grade South Scranton Intermediate School student-athlete who was recently diagnosed with myeloid leukemia.
Admission to the "Cancer Awareness Day" games is free to the public, and donations for Jalen Chandler will be accepted at the event. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. for the Women's game and 3 p.m. for the Men's game. Doors will open one hour prior to the event. The Falcons will sell specially designed t-shirts for $10 in advance of the event on Thursday, Feb. 15 and Friday, February 16, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Lackawanna College Angeli Hall theater lobby. T-shirts will also be sold at the game.
