Scranton, PA – Led by a 22-point scoring performance by Stevan Rodriguez and a Khristian Gill double-double of 11 points and 20 rebounds, the Lackawanna College Men's Basketball team beat Delaware Technical Community College 79-49. The win gives the Falcons a Region XIX Division II win/loss record of 8-1 and tied with Manor College for first place in the conference.

Another Falcon with an outstanding performance was Javontay Pipkin, who came within 2 rebounds of having a triple double. Pipkin netted 10 pints, dished out 10 assists and grabbed 8 rebounds. Also making significant contributions to the win were Alphonso Gee with 16 points and 4 assists; and, Jonathan Williams with 15 points and 8 rebounds.

Tuesday, the Falcons seek to protect their first place standing when they travel to North Branch, New Jersey, to play Region XIX DII rival Raritan Valley Community College. Tuesday's game is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
