Lackawanna Men finish First Half of Season with a Victory

Middletown, NY – Thursday night, the Lackawanna College Men's Basketball team ended the first half of the 2017-2018 basketball season with a 114-84 victory over Orange County Community College. With the win, the Falcons improved their overall win/loss record to 11-2, while their Region XIX DII record remains at 7-1.

The Falcons were led by five players scoring in double figures. Javontay Pipkin was the top scorer with 21 points. Pipkins was followed by Jonathan Williams with 19 points, Theron Reddy with 18 points, Keyon Faulkner-Smith with 16 points and Stevan Rodriguez with 10.

The Falcons will return to play on January 3rd, when they play Bergen Community College at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The January 3rd contest will be played at 2:00 PM. It will serve as a preliminary to the main event of the day, the 7:30 pm contest between the Brooklyn Nets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Click on this link for additional information.
