Charles Recognized at Spring Sports Banquet

The Lackawanna College Athletic Department held its annual spring banquet on Tuesday, May 3, 2010. The dinner honors the Most Valuable Players from each of its winter and spring sports programs, and players who have received Region XIX and NJCAA recognition. The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the annual awards honoring the academic and sportsmanship accomplishments of its student-athletes

This year's Most Valuable Player award for Men's Basketball was presented to Darryl Charles.

Charles was also honored as the team's only All Region player. He was named to the 2010 – 2011 All Region XIX Division II First Team.
