The Lackawanna College Athletic Department is honored to announce that three members of its football team signed a National Letter of Intent committing them the NCAA institution at which they will continue their academic and athletic careers. Those players making this commitment were Mark Glowinski, Bernardo Nunez and Lorenzo Taliaferro.

Glowinski Commits to West Virginia

The Football Program at Lackawanna College is honored to announce that its NJCAA All-American Lineman, Mark Glowinski, has verbally committed to the University of West Virginia. Glowinski chose the Mountaineers because he felt it was the best for him both academically and athletically. It also provided his family an opportunity to attend a majority of his games.

At Hutchinson Kansas, Lackawanna College’s 2011 football season came to a disappointing end with a 70-20 loss to Hutchinson Community College in the Salt City Bowl. The loss left the Falcons with a 7-4 win/loss record.
