Coach Duda Honored with Award from Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame

(Scranton, PA) – The Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame honored Lackawanna College's Head Football Coach Mark Duda on Thursday afternoon. He was awarded the Luzerne County Sports Hall of Fame Meritorious Achievement Award and Commendation Certificate. Coach Duda will also be added to the Sports Hall of Fame display inside the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport.

Coach Duda helped lead Lackawanna College to a record 11-0 this past season. The undefeated season also included a 17-10 win over Arizona Western at the 2018 El Toro Bowl in Yuma, Arizona. The Falcons finished #6 in National NJCAA Rankings.

The LCSHOF is a non-profit service organization that endeavors to perpetuate the memory of local athletes, male and female, who have brought lasting fame and recognition to the state of Pennsylvania through their athletic achievements and community involvement.
