Jaquan Brisker Named NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week

(Scranton, PA) – Jaquan Brisker was named Defensive Player of the Week by the NJCAA Wednesday afternoon. A stellar performance by Brisker helped Lackawanna College defeat Georgia Military College 30-15.

Jaquan Brisker recorded 7 solo tackles which included 2 sacks and 3 tackles for a loss. Jaquan also forced a key fumble during Sunday's game. The Bulldogs Torenio Davis caught a 46-yard pass, making his way to the Lackawanna 3-yard line. Brisker came from behind Davis to knock the ball loose into the end-zone. Lackawanna's Robert Kennedy dropped on top of the ball resulting in a touchback.

The Lackawanna Falcons have earned a spot in the postseason, they will be competing in the El Toro Bowl against Arizona Western on December 1st. The Falcons will be pursuing a school record as they look to become the first team to go 11-0 in program history.
