Falcons Rally From 5-0 Deficit to Take Game 2 of Regionals

Trailing by a score of 5-0 after two innings, Lackawanna rallied to outscore Burlington CC 14-7. The decisive blow of the game was a 6th inning blast off the bat of Rob Lessig. It was his two run home run that gave Lackawanna the lead that they would not relinquish for the remainder of the game.

Corey Fassett's 2 home runs, triple and 5 RBIs sparked the Falcons' comeback.

Matt Frei ended the scoring with a two run homer in the eighth inning. It was Frei's fourth home run of the tournament and his 20th of the season.

Evan Robaczewski was credited with the win, his fourth of the year without a loss.

With the win, the Falcons advanced to the tournament's championship round on Saturday Afternoon at 2:30 PM. Their opponent will be the winner of Burlington CC and CC Morris.
