Lackawanna Beats Alfred State College 1-0 in Pitching Duel

A double by Eric Hink and a Alfred State error gave the Falcons a 1-0 first inning lead. It was all that Louis Mantione needed as he out dueled the Pioneer's Mark Ciccotti to post a 3 hit complete game shutout. Hink was Lackawanna's leading hitter as he went 3 for 3 with a double.

Lackawanna got their bats working in the second game, as they took an early 2-0 lead which they never relinquished in coasting to a 9-2 victory and a double header sweep over Alfred State.

Numerous players starred for the Falcons at the plate. Jon Wilson had three hits including a double; Eric Hink banged a 2 run home run; while Sam Parente doubled and tripled
