Falcons Open Regional Play With Pair of Wins

Lackawanna College opened its Region 19 season with a road sweep of Salem Community College, allowing just five hits in a pair of routs, 10-0 and 11-2, on Sunday afternoon.

Evan Robazewski and Cody Patton combined on a three-hitter in the first game. Matt Frei, Steve Aniska and Sam Parente hit back-to-back-to-back homers in the fifth inning. Parente finished with two hits. Rob Lessig added two hits, two RBIs and three stolen bases for Lackawanna (12-3 overall, 2-0 Region 19).
