Falcons Run Winning Streak To Four

Lackawanna College extended their winning streak to 4 on Saint Patrick’s Day by beating Northampton CC 1-0 and Duchess County CC 8-4.

In the opener, Jon Wilson pitched a complete game giving up 2 hits, with 4 strikeouts on 83 pitches for the win.

The Falcon hitters were led by Sam Parente, who homered twice, Matt Frei’s home run, and two doubles each by Carlos Pichardo and Matt Accardi,

In the late game, Lou Manitone gained a win by pitching 6 innings giving up 1 hit with 4 strikeouts.

At the plate, Matt Accardi had two doubles and 3 RBIs, while Steve Aniska contributed 2 hits.

Also, Rob Lessig stole 3 bases and scored twice.
